Wellbeing Coordinator
The Wellbeing Coordinator is an emerging on-set role responsible for crew + cast mental-health and wellbeing during the production. Signposts to Safe to Create + Minding Creative Minds services, coordinates on-set support, and acts as a confidential first contact for crew experiencing distress.
Not yet present on every production but increasingly common on large or content-challenging productions.
What the role does
- Acts as a confidential first contact for crew + cast on wellbeing concerns
- Signposts to Minding Creative Minds and other support services
- Coordinates on-set support for crew dealing with difficult content
- Maintains the production's wellbeing-related artefact set — Safe to Create signage, support contacts, induction materials
- Works alongside Intimacy Coordinator on overlapping responsibilities
Position
Reports to producer. Independent advocacy on behalf of crew + cast.
