1st Assistant Accountant

The 1st Assistant Accountant is the senior support to the Production Accountant — managing supplier accounts, reviewing cost coding, and preparing draft cost reports for the Production Accountant's review.

What the role does

• Manages supplier accounts payable — invoice processing, PO matching, payment runs
• Reviews cost coding by department before sign-off
• Prepares draft cost reports for the Production Accountant
• Coordinates with Assistant Accountant — Payroll Specialist on payroll handoff
• Supervises 2nd Assistant Accountant, Cashier, Accounts Trainee

Position

Reports to Production Accountant. Supervises the rest of the Accounts team.
