Music Editor

The Music Editor handles music to picture — placing score + source music in the edit, conforming as the picture cut evolves, preparing music stems for the Re-recording Mixer.

What the role does

• Cuts score + source music to picture
• Tracks music revisions as the cut evolves
• Prepares music stems + cue sheets for delivery
• Coordinates with Composer + Music Supervisor on integration

Position

Reports to director / producer on creative; coordinates with Editor and Sound Editor.
