Location Assistant
The Location Assistant runs the on-set Locations operation — managing access, signage, parking, crew comms, and the day-to-day on-location logistics.
What the role does
- Manages on-location access control for cast + crew
- Sets up + maintains signage + parking layouts
- Coordinates crew + supplier deliveries to location
- Handles on-location issues as they arise — neighbours, weather, infrastructure
- Reports to Assistant Location Manager / Location Manager
Position
Reports to Assistant Location Manager on operational matters.
Career progression
SI Competency Framework Level 3 — Experienced. Path: Location Trainee → Location Assistant → Assistant Location Manager.
Working pattern
