VFX Supervisor

The VFX Supervisor is the creative + technical lead for VFX on the production. Designs the VFX approach for each shot, supervises vendor execution, and coordinates with Director of Photography (DoP / DP) + Production Designer on visual integration with the live-action plate.

What the role does

• Designs VFX approach for each effects shot
• Coordinates with Director of Photography (DoP / DP) on plate photography + camera tracking
• Coordinates with Production Designer on on-set VFX integration
• Manages vendor creative review + approval cycles
• Supervises VFX On-Set Supervisor for on-set execution

Position

Reports to director + producer on creative; coordinates with VFX Producer on schedule + budget.
