# Cúram (Company Admin) — User Guide

The company-administration and employment-compliance module of Togra: the recurring upkeep, statutory obligations and HR compliance that run alongside the slate — surface by surface.

1. What Cúram is for

A production company carries obligations that belong to no single project: CRO filings, insurance renewals, company policies, statutory leave, GDPR, and a growing stack of employment-law compliance (employment-status determinations, fixed-term tenure, pay transparency, reasonable accommodations). Cúram is where that recurring upkeep lives. It's a top-level module precisely because admin obligations don't belong inside any one project — they're the company's responsibilities across the whole slate.

It does two jobs: the recurring maintenance (tasks, insurance, policies, leave) and the employment & company compliance (Karshan status, fixed-term, pay transparency, accommodations, sustainability, plus the admin utilities — data export, archive, login log).

2. How the module is laid out

  • Primary: Tasks · Insurance · Policies · Leave · Settings
  • Compliance (More ▾): COI · Employment status (Karshan) · Fixed-term · Pay transparency · Accommodations · Sustainability
  • Admin (More ▾): Data export · Project archive · Login log

3. The surfaces in detail

Recurring maintenance

Tasks (curam.php) — the recurring company-admin task tracker (CRO / VAT / PAYE / insurance / board minutes / tax clearance and the like), each recurring on its cadence. Insurance (insurance.php) — company-wide and per-project policies with renewal countdowns, and COI (insurance-certs.php) issues certificates of insurance per location/vendor against any policy. Policies (policies.php) — the editable per-company policy library (dignity, leave, conduct, safety); mandatory items must be acknowledged by every cast/crew member (the acknowledgements drive the Bordáil inductions matrix). Leave (leave.php) — the statutory leave tracker (maternity / adoptive / parental / parent's / paternity / force-majeure / medical-care / sick / compassionate). Settings (settings.php) — your account (profile, password, email digest, calendar-feed token).

Employment & company compliance

Employment status (karshan.php) — the Karshan 5-step employee-vs-self-employed assessment (per Karshan [2023] IESC 24 + the 2024 Code of Practice); its determinations feed the contract classification the pay-transparency headcount reads. Fixed-term (fixed-term-tracker.php) — slate-wide cumulative successive-fixed-term-contract tenure, flagging workers approaching the 4-year indefinite-contract trigger. Pay transparency (pay-transparency.php) — EU Pay Transparency Directive readiness + Irish Gender Pay Gap scope (the ≥50-employee threshold) + the right-to-information responder. Accommodations (accommodation-passport.php) — the Reasonable Accommodation Passport (per-worker living document, 6-month review, Employment Equality Acts 1998–2015). Sustainability (sustainability.php) — the per-project Carbon Action Plan + cert status (CnaM S&V evidence) — the same surface used for the S481 Industry Development Test input in Airgead.

Admin utilities

Data export (data-export.php) — download every piece of group data as a zip (GDPR data portability + disaster-recovery snapshot). Project archive (project-archive.php) — archive wrapped projects out of active surfaces (restorable any time). Login log (admin-login-log.php) — the admin-only authentication audit trail.

4. Cúram and the rest of Togra

  • Cúram → Bordáil. Policies set here must be acknowledged at onboarding (the Bordáil inductions matrix); insurance and COIs underpin the shoot.
  • Cúram → Cuntasaíocht / Cearta. The Karshan employment-status determinations classify contracts, which the pay-transparency headcount and the Article 19 transparency reporting both rely on.
  • Sustainability is dual-surfaced with Airgead — the same Carbon Action Plan is company compliance (CnaM S&V) here and an S481 Industry Development Test input there.
  • Deadline nudges. Cúram's obligations surface in the approvals inbox: recurring tasks due, insurance renewals, fixed-term tenure triggers, leave events.
Audit note (2026-06-07): Cúram is correctly scoped to company admin and employment compliance, and internally coherent. The one cross-module overlap (Sustainability, shared with Airgead) is a single page reached from two workflows. No surface needed to move.

5. How this makes company admin easier for a production company

  • The upkeep doesn't fall through. Recurring tasks, insurance renewals and leave events are tracked with countdowns and inbox nudges, so a CRO filing or a lapsed policy doesn't surprise you.
  • Employment compliance is real, not assumed. Karshan determinations, fixed-term tenure tracking, pay-transparency readiness and accommodation passports turn the employment-law exposure a producer carries into surfaces with status — and they feed the classification the books and the Article 19 reports depend on.
  • One acknowledgement chain. Policies authored here are acknowledged at onboarding, so the company's conduct/safety standards are provably accepted by everyone on a production.
  • GDPR and continuity covered. One-click data export gives both data portability and a disaster-recovery snapshot; the archive keeps wrapped projects without cluttering the active slate.

6. Worked example

Onboarding meets compliance. Author the mandatory Policies; when a crew member onboards in Bordáil they acknowledge them (tracked on the inductions matrix). Run a Karshan assessment to classify them employee or self-employed — which flows into the Pay transparency headcount and the contract record. Track their Leave and any Accommodations through the engagement; renew the production Insurance and issue location COIs as the shoot needs them.

This guide reflects the Cúram module as shipped. The Cuntasaíocht guide covers the books that the employment-status classifications feed, and the Bordáil guide covers the onboarding where policies are acknowledged.
