HoD Model Maker

The HoD Model Maker leads the Model Making team — building physical miniatures, scaled models, detailed practical elements that can be shot in-camera. The role bridges the Art department and practical-effects work.

What the role does

• Designs + builds physical miniatures + scaled models
• Coordinates with VFX Supervisor on miniature-VFX integration
• Coordinates with Art Director on integrated set + miniature design
• Manages Model Making workshop
• Supervises Model Maker, Assistant Model Maker, Trainee Model Maker

Position

Reports to Production Designer / Art Director.
