SI Priority Areas — sector skills deficits

Screen Ireland publishes a regularly-updated list of Priority Areas of Focus — the department × grade combinations where skills deficits are most acute and where producer skills development plans should pay particular attention. The list is the SI sector skills bulletin distilled into a structured catalogue.

Use on a production

When designing the Skills Development Plan (Tab F), map at least some of the production's participants against entries on this list. SI looks favourably on plans that visibly address the sector's published priorities.

SI updates this list regularly. Always reference the latest version of the SI Guidelines document. The Togra-side seed (mig 240) carries the December 2025 version, marked with catalogue_v = '2025-12' on each row.
