Trainee Script Supervisor

The Trainee Script Supervisor learns continuity-tracking under a working Script Supervisor. The role is intensely role-specific — training is typically by direct apprenticeship.

What the role does

• Shadows the Script Supervisor during shoot
• Maintains secondary continuity notes — typically backup notes verifying the Script Supervisor's primary records
• Supports the production log and lined script maintenance
• Gradually takes on continuity-tracking responsibility on simpler setups

Position

Reports directly to Script Supervisor.
